This is a great site for teaching students about the concepts of colors. It is fairly good for all ages. In my class of juniors and seniors, colors and how they mix is important to know when discussing screen resolutions, web page colors and VB colors.
History of Computers

This site takes you
through the history of computers. The left pane show links in history from 350
million BC to 1997. Who knew you
could make a connection back that far, but when discussing counting and the base
ten system, it fits.

The link to
computers pops up a list of old PCs. When
you click on those links, pictures and brief descriptions of each pop up.
This is a great site to show the history of PC within the last 20-25
years.
Think Quest: Computer Ethics

This site includes a classroom activity on
computer ethics (mostly Internet) applicable to K-12 computer courses. The
references are good, and with the proper direction, students can explore the
many topics of computer ethics.

This site lays out
computer ethics in four categories. Organizations,
Topics, courses and publications. When
doing research for Computer Ethics, this site is valuable.
WHATIS.COM
This site is a
reference site of computer terms. Often
with BESS (A filter system) simple things like looking up OSI models in the
image search s locked out. However, if the students first navigate to a computer
reference site they can find the images and information about the topic.
WEBOPEDIA
