You have been contracted to do an inventory spreadsheet for a computer component company. You must use Excel for this task.
Objectives
Comp-U-Tech Computer
Systems has hired you to design a spreadsheet containing all their inventory
items and how many are in stock. Using
eBay and Price Watch, you must compile a list of 20-25 items and their prices. These should be arranged in an Excel
spreadsheet. Also, the companies name
and an appropriate logo must be included on the top. Students should format the list in an easily readable form. Colors and different fonts are
encouraged. NOTE: Student may use Web Quest #4 with this web
quest. Be sure to save this web quest
for use in future web quests. Some
formulas you may want to use are =Cell1*Cell2 to get the total in inventory for
that item. Also, =sum(CellX:CellY) will
add the totals of all the items together to give you their final investment in
inventory. Assumptions may be used for
the number of items in inventory. For
an idea on the setup and application, please use the screenshot.
