PORTFOLIO PROJECT

A student portfolio includes your resume, accomplishments and awards, a collection of projects and examples of your BEST work.  Your portfolio is something you will take from this class to show others, including prospective employers, what you have learned in Computer Technology.  You will want to save all your materials on a zip disk (or many, many floppies). It should be in a one-inch three-ring binder with sheet protectors.  I will provide examples of a typical portfolio.

The following is a list of components for your portfolio

·         Cover page

·         Table of Contents

·         Resume

·         Awards

·         Examples of projects and work.

Include sample documents, employability chart, class notes, class tips and tricks.

Topics will include:   (Projects will be provided by Mr. DeMerle)

Operating systems - Windows 95 and/or DOS - all projects

      Office projects

      Programming

     A+ Hardware topics

     Networking topics

      Awards/Certificates (VICA)

You may add your own projects you worked on during the year

Remember, this is your BEST work and you will need to spell-check and proofread carefully.
