Q:  I would like to enroll in one of your career and technical programs and I am in high school.  How do I do that?

Q: I'm an adult student and would like to take one of the vocational programs.  How do I do that? 

A: Adults can enter secondary programs if seating permits.  Adults need to contact Roger Amati, our Placement Coordinator, at 1-800-836-7510, extension: 3006 or e-mail him at ramati@onboces.org.  You will be interviewed to see if the placement is appropriate and cost and payment would be discussed.  Mr. Amati will then set up a shadowing day with the teacher and the potential student so that they can determine if the situation will work for both. 

Q: I would like to receive a catalogue of the Continuing Education offerings.  What do I do?

A: You can either check out our web site under Education and Programs or call the Continuing Education offices at 1-800-836-7510, ext: 3002. 

Q: What are the class hours for the Orleans Career and Technical Education Center?

A: Morning Session (Senior Class) runs 8:15 AM to 11:00 AM.  Afternoon Session (Junior Class) runs 12:10 PM to 2:35 PM. 

Q: What are the class hours for the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center?

A: Morning Session (Senior Class) runs from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM.  Afternoon Session (Junior Class) runs from 12:10 PM to 2:40 PM. 

Q:  I attended one of your career and technical programs several years ago.  How do I get copies of my transcript?

A: If you attending the program at the Orleans Career and Technical Education Center call 1-800-836-7510, extension: 2233 or contact Jaye Gerling at jgerling@onboces.org.  If you attended the program at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center call 1-800-836-7510, extension: 0 or contact Patty Benton at pbenton@onboces.org.

Q: How do I find out about certification?

A: Please check out our home page and follow the links on the left hand side of the page. 

Q:  I am being home schooled and would like to attend a Orleans/Niagara BOCES' vocational program.  Can I do that?

A:  We do accept students that are being home schooled.  Please be aware though, that their school district will not pick up the tuition if they are not attending there.  The student and their family will be responsible for paying it.  For more information contact Program Advisor Roger Amati at ramati@onboces.org
