Basic/Adv/Pipe Welding/6408 Day Program
A combination program of basic arc advanced arc and pipe welding. One semester class offering to meet the request of interested individuals.
Basic arc welding will include: set-up and operation of welding machines and cutting torches, all welding positions: flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead and safety procedures will be covered. The student will be instructed in the theory and practice of stick welding.
Advanced arc welding will include: all position welding of butt and fillet joints and shielded metal arc using various mild sheet electrodes, and the basic Mig and Tig welding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The program of instruction is intended to specialize in advanced arc welding skills.
Pipe welding will include: Pipe welding students will become familiar with the fundamentals of pipe welding. Instruction will cover, pipe construction, preparation, and welding.
