School Library System

  • SCHOOL LIBRARY SYSTEM

The School Library System was established in 1984 to promote the sharing of library materials and expertise of the Orleans/Niagara school librarians.  The primary goal is to ensure that all students have access to a multitude of resources.

To help meet students' information needs, the School Library System resources, such as the Union Catalog, are available on this site.  There is also a link to NOVELny, the State's free electronic resources for libraries.

Storytelling festivals are unique to a few School Library Systems in New York State.  The Orleans/Niagara BOCES Storytelling Festival usually has several hundred students participate.
