Workforce Development Programs and Classes
Programs and classes for adults fall into two major categories: part-time and full-time. Part-time classes usually meet one or two nights per week and are geared toward adults interested in upgrading skills to improve chances of promotion or increase job flexibility. Full-Time programs run during the day usually, Monday-Thursdays starting at 9:00 am. and are geared toward adults seeking a solid foundation in a skill trade pathway.
Additionally, many adults take these courses to gain experience and knowledge for their own personal growth. Courses are offered in: Electricity, Welding, HVAC, Pipefitting, Auto Mechanics, Rigging, Schematics and Blueprint reading and other industry specific related areas.
Adult education also offers Health Science Related (HSR) programs: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), LPN-Nursing, and Phlebotomy. For health science related programs, please contact Theresa Little at 716.731.6800 Ext.3752 or Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
