Council & Communications Coordinators' Meetings

    • The governing board of the school library system is the Orleans / Niagara BOCES Board of Education.

    • The school library system council is a quasi-governing body that meets four times a year. It is made up of representatives from member libraries and "other representatives of providers and users of library services in the school library system." This is in accordance with Commissioner's Regulations 90.18(b)(2)(i).

    • The council works with the governing board to prepare the library system’s plan of service.

    • Communication coordinators “individually and as a group, provide two-way communication between the member libraries and the school library system.”
