Niagara Academy Summer School Learns About Taking A Bite Out of Crime

The extended school year (ESY) at Orleans/Niagara BOCES’ Niagara Academy has had some interesting guests this summer.

Recently, two police officers and their K9 dogs out to do three presentations for the students.  Deputy Rich Bull with his dog Chief from the Niagara County Sheriffs, and Officer Mike Cali with his dog Teo from the NYS Park Police of the Niagara Region talked to the students about their jobs and how their partners, the K-9s help with their duties.

ESY Principal, Michelle Kulbago said, “The students and staff loved meeting and learning about the dogs and the police officers!  It was a great learning experience for all of us.”
