Coaching Certification Service Director:

The Commissioner's regulations require all personnel assuming coaching responsibilities to have certification. This service--which is approved by the NYSED Bureau of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation--offers the following courses necessary for certification:
Health Science Applied to Coaching
Philosophy, Principles, & Organization of Athletics
Theory and Techniques of Coaching
This service tracks all personnel entering the certification process and awards a certificate upon completion of the courses.
A First Aid course designed for coaches is also offered. An initial and re-certification course are taught according to NYSED regulations.

**Please Note: Coaches are asked to comply with COVID-19 guidelines/regulations at all times when on the premises of Orleans-Niagara BOCES. Coaching classes will be held virtually when possible.
