Orleans/Niagara BOCES is proud to share that 20 students attended our recent GED graduation ceremony, celebrating their incredible achievement alongside family, friends, and staff. In total, over 100 students earned their High School Equivalency (HSE) diplomas this year—a milestone we’re thrilled to recognize.
The event was held at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Niagara, 639 Main Street, Niagara Falls NY on July 10, with Mayor Robert Restaino joining us as our keynote speaker.
HSE classes are open year-round, and we welcome new students at any time. To get started or learn more, please call us at 716-731-6800 ext. 3100.
“It’s taken ten years to get here. I’ve battled with life challenges and people who didn’t want to see me succeed—but here I am, proving them all wrong with those who believed and supported me along the way! You got this!” says graduate, Paris Klaczyk, who also received the Perseverance Award. GED Instructor Erica Kopp said this about the ceremony, “Watching our students walk across that stage is one of the greatest joys of this job. Every single graduate has overcome obstacles, doubts, and setbacks—and still kept going. Their determination inspires me every day. I’m proud beyond words.”
We are so proud of our students! Congratulations!!!
