Earth Day was celebrated on April 22nd. This year's theme was "Our Power, Our Plant" to promote climate resilience, clean air, and water. The 56th annual event emphasized collective action and encouraged community centered initiatives.
North Tonawanda Learning Center teacher Sandra Henn and her students took part by picking up litter around the campus. "It was a great way to protect our planet while learning about what Earth Day is," she says. Well done everyone!
