The dynamic percussion ensemble, Blue Ink Butterfly, visited the Godfrey Learning Center to deliver two separate performances—one for the middle school and another for the high school. These individuals are part of People Inc.'s Young Adult Transition Program.
Our students thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and it was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time. This group performed for us and then we joined in with our own percussion instruments.
Music teacher Mary Kuhn attended the Unity Festival at Lockport High school and recognized a few of her former students, prompting her to invite them to showcase their talents with us. "This talented group was led by the exceptional drum facilitator, Matt Knott. We are super excited to have them back," she says.
